Little
Scotties News

2012
This week we have continued doing
activities about pumpkins. We carved our
class pumpkin on Monday and sorted the pulp and seeds. For large group, we cooked the seeds and
tasted them. Eight children liked the way they tasted while seven didn’t like
the taste. We have also planted our
pumpkin seeds and predicted what would happen to them. We also used describing words to explain the taste/feel
of the seeds. This week we also read the
book Pumpkin Jack and predicted what
our pumpkin would do if we sat it outside for a long period of time.
- Please send an
extra pair of clothes for cold weather.
We will be sending home your child’s extra warm weather clothes as soon
as we receive the others.
